Jayden McCurdy: The inspiration behind 'We Are Up'

Eighteen-year-old Jayden McCurdy is known in her community for something simple and delicious: her homemade chocolate chip cookies.

Each year, the cookies sell out at an annual fundraiser supporting We Are Up, an inclusive housing community planned for Humboldt County that was inspired by Jayden herself.
