The kitchen is the heart of every home.
And we’re raising funds to build ours.
We Are Up will focus on building a community that welcomes and provides support and enrichment for its residents and the community at large. Our community center, commercial kitchen, and retail store will provide opportunities for job training and scalable enterprises and gathering places for events and workshops.
We Are Up is a paradigm shift in how we provide care. Our model aims to improve the health, resilience, and connectedness of We Are Up residents and our rural region.
Instead of siloing and isolating, We Are Up weaves together diverse people and activities to create a dynamic and functioning whole. This ecosystem of care includes three main components that work together to strengthen community and mutual support: Integrated housing, agricultural and open spaces, and gathering and enrichment.
