Highlights From Our 2nd Annual Spooktacular

We Had Fun!

We shared the We Are Up mission with over 225 guests. Our auction was spectacular! The community donated trips, meals, flights, gift baskets and so much more.

Arcata FFA students were real stars. They made our centerpieces, partnered with our ambassadors to help guests find their seats and pass out cookies, and helped wrangle those auction bids into the stratosphere.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal, danced until the wee hours to Dr Squid, raised lots of money and most important of all began building Community.

We Have Raised $19,000 Toward Our $27,000 Matching Grant!

A repeat supporter, using the Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from their IRA, was able to put the entire amount of their distribution to work, eliminating tax withholding, by donating to We Are Up. The match began with auctioning cookies made by one of our Ambassadors. Our Community went wild and $19,000 was raised leaving us with just $8000 to reach our full match.
