Matching Grant

WOW! Thank you to all who have helped us get so close to meeting the generous $25,000 matching grant from Humboldt and Mendocino Redwood Companies. The grant was offered just a few months ago and we had a very hopeful and aggressive deadline of April 1st. As of this writing the community has donated $19,906 leaving us with just $5,094 to be awarded the full match! We are so grateful to Humboldt and Mendocino Redwood Companies and to the community for all your support of We Are Up. Help us meet the $25,000 matching grant goal by donating here:

Rotarians Rock!

Many Thanks to the early risers at Rotary Club of Arcata Sunrise for the invitation to share the We Are Up story this week. As is often the case, about a third of the hands in the room went up when we asked who had a family member affected by a disability. In the few hours since the meeting, five of the group have reached out with ideas or offers of help. Rotarian Charlie Jordan and her family have pledged to support We Are Up through her son Kevin's memorial fund. What a wonderful way to honor Kevin and bring We Are Up to life!
